DO NOT BUY FROM SPRING
Novatone, the community that helps with managing my merch, has informed me of the following:
Spring closed down their printing facility in Kentucky and laid off their workers back in December 2022. They have stopped fulfilling orders and paying artists ever since November 2024 and won't let people close their shops. They were bought out by Amaze and are turning towards AI garbage.
As of now, all my items are currently archived and we're looking for an alternative.May 17th 2025
THESE ITEMS ARE CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE AS I SEARCH FOR AN ALTERNATIVE TO SPRING.

⚠ All terms apply unless specified on any individual works. ⚠
You can check if there are any track-specific restrictions specified in this spreadsheet, which of course is very unlikely.

I give full permission and encouragement to anyone interested in using my released music for any creative projects, including:Videos
Livestreams
Timelapses/Speedpaints
School projects
Animations
Indie/Web-based games
Rhythm game charts
Mashups
DJ sets/Mixes
And many moreBy default, you do not need to ask before doing so.
However, if you plan to use my music or other work for a much bigger commercial project, like a feature film, video game, etc., please do contact me first so we can discuss the details further.
Otherwise, All I ask for is that I am appropriately credited for the music used in the following formats or similar:✔ "TRAELMYX - (Track Name)"
✔ "Music by TRAELMYX"Providing a link to the track on Bandcamp, Youtube, Soundcloud, etc. also works, but typically not by itself due to link rot.✖ Don't just say: "Credit to the artist", "Music is not by me" or anything similar. That is not helpful to anyone curious.
• • •
✔ You are free to monetize your projects or streams that use my music as well.
By default, the usage of my music should NOT result in any copyright strikes or claims, as I refuse to have YouTube Content ID or anything similar applied to my music. Please don't hesitate to contact me if such has occurred, as it's likely been done in error.

✔ You can sample my music.
No credit is needed unless it's a large portion of it that plays a major role in your work.
A small sample, fill or chant you really like? None needed.
A longer clip or multiple samples used for a backing track or for context? Credit appropriately.✔ Accepted format, or similar:
"Sample used: TRAELMYX - (Track Name)" ✖ Don't credit like this:
"feat. TRAELMYX" or "TRAELMYX & (You) - (Your track or project)"
By default, it's not a collaboration.

✔ You can make remixes/bootlegs/covers/parodies (in good faith) of my music
I gave stems out for some of them for a reason, but don't expect that for all tracks. It's a hassle to set stems up tbh.
You're also free to distribute and sell such without splitting revenue or royalties.Keep in mind that this doesn’t automatically mean that I’ll send what you made to streaming services or feature it on my channel, especially since Soundrop increased the pricing for distribution as of 2025. There’s also no contest and I don’t feel like or have the means to host one and have prizes with substance.

Buying my music before using it is recommended, but not required.

With all that said, these are the default restrictions for my music:✖ Do not resell or re/distribute my music as is to any streaming or selling platforms, unless permitted.
✖ Do not use my music in projects that intend to stir up discourse or spread drama.
✖ Do not claim that you are the creator, publisher, or copyright owner of my music as is, unless permitted.
✖ Do not use any released music that was made for a commission, unless permitted.
✖ Do not use my music alongside any projects made with the intent to bring harm, dehumanize and discriminate others.
✖ Do not use my music to train your generative AI models or include such alongside projects that promote AI, unless permitted. There's a plethora of resources available for free, both for beginner and non-artists, so there's no excuse.

Regarding reuploads of my music...
Listeners: I generally advise against doing so, because it makes no sense when other people upload my stuff to Soundcloud or other music websites when they're already available on the official profiles as well as streaming services and vendors.
Please support those instead if possible.
Even just ripping the song and putting it on your phone or music player is better than reuploads.
I'll also say I'm not a huge fan of those 1 hour/10 hours/etc. videos of my tracks. I understand the reasoning behind it since the loop option on various platforms aren't seamless, but at the very least, don't monetize said content.
Promoters: I'm more lenient with dedicated & reputable promo pages that have the proper resources, but I still advise that you request permission first from me, the collaborators/remixers and/or the label(s).
I'm still not very huge on reuploads to Soundcloud if it's already on my/the label's page.

I do not have any involvement with any generative AI/LLM, blockchain, collectible, or NFT-related projects, unless explicitly stated. Any platforms/users that claim that I do are most likely trying to scam you and/or have used my likeness without my consent.
• • •
If anyone asks how they can use my music, or you see someone that has failed to follow these terms by reuploading, please keep it simple by just leaving a kind message directing them to this page or the video I made that covers these terms.
Do not immediately get upset on my behalf/treat all instances as malicious and take matters into your own hands, especially by piling onto existing messages. I don't need any crusades against random clueless people on the internet.
If you notice a release of mine was distributed without being announced, message me and I'll find a way to manage it if I can.

Note: I did consider licensing my music under Creative Commons, but decided that the most applicable licensing I would've chosen was just a bit too broad for my case. The most freedom I've found appropriate was establishing my own terms of use instead of using a template.

"Can I use your music for a project / Is your stuff under Creative Commons / DMCA-free / Stream safe?"
In most cases, yeah."What do you use to make music?"
Mainly FL Studio, with a hint of Audacity, Ableton Lite, and LMMS."Who makes your cover art / videos?"
It’s all me, apart from the following releases:
Commissioned art:
That Fuzzy Feelin’ VIP (Clarissa_Arts)
Neon Island (Pinyatta)
Collaborative art:
Wicked Nasty! & BITDEPTH140 (w/ Convexity)Some cover art is provided by whichever label the track is a part of without its own single artwork, so you may wanna ask them unless I've already mentioned the artist in question in the description of the release. For those curious, I mainly use FireAlpaca, Paint.NET, Inkscape, Krita, Blender, VEGAS Pro 14/18, Shotcut, and ZGameEditor Visualizer for FL Studio. Adobe does not deserve my money or anyone else's for their business practices."Can you make me a cover art?"
I haven't fully figured out rates yet so I'm not sure about that."When did you start making music?"
Ever since 2016, thanks to the app that finally clicked with me, Medly."Will there be EVEN MORE STITCHES?"
Not from me, that’s for sure. You can either make it yourself with the stems I’ve provided here or listen to the remixes I’ve featured on my channel.More Stitches and its predecessor have already said their parts of the story; I have no reason to continue making variations. I might make a project breakdown eventually at least, dunno when yet."Why isn’t [this song] on Newgrounds / available for Geometry Dash?"
Sometimes I didn’t feel like it or forgot to, but generally I’m becoming more selective of what I put on Newgrounds because I won’t lie, the amount of comments I’m getting that turn out to be just the name of some layout(s) the song’s been featured in and usually nothing else has been bugging me.
Please just enjoy the song, they’ve already said it for you. 🙏"Will you make a remix of [this song]?"
I do what I want when I want so I can't guarantee I'll do that."Do you take music commissions / Can you make music for my project?"
Some arrangements could be made for specific cases but it's not guaranteed, especially when I'm still figuring out rates. Feel free to reach out regardless."Will you finish [this song?] / I NEED [THIS SONG] ON SPOTIFY!!!"
Patience is key, my fella. Despite my adorably mechanical appearance, I am not a machine of mass production. Not to mention that labels may be in charge of distribution.
Also, some songs can’t be distributed for licensing reasons, like some bootlegs or unofficial remixes I’ve made."Can we collaborate?"
Depends on who’s asking—I'm typically selective regarding collabs. They're usually reserved for friends or specific opportunities I have in mind."Can you get me in contact with [this fella/label]?"
Depends on who’s asking.Updated as of October 26th, 2025
